Basic Retouching:

All images presented in your gallery include Basic Retouching. Basic Retouching is performed over a bulk of images and includes sharpening, basic exposure, color and contrast adjustments. For a consistency between all images selected to be in your gallery, individual images may then be given an extra tweak or two.

Most photographers would consider this their full retouching.

Why Additional Retouching?

While not all images need additional retouching, when you feel like they do, we have you covered.

There are many variables in photography which are out of a photographers control. Wind blown hair, breakouts, wrinkled clothing, model distractions and photo bombs are among a few of these variables. Many times these variables are all that keeps a good image from being an amazing image.

All images on our website, excluding Basic Retouching examples in the Additional Retouching Before & Afters slideshow below, have received Additional Retouching.

Printing The Details

Ultimately, printing is the upmost, primary reason to consider Additional Retouching. The larger the print size, the more details become visible. That's why we recommend Additional Retouching for any images intended towards printing 11x14 or larger.

Additional Retouching:

Additional Retouching can be purchased through your gallery and special requests can be made within the comments for each relating image.

Additional Retouching:

$60 Each

Additional Retouching consists of 1 1/2 hrs. of Photoshop work.

The image is first treated for any requests or it's biggest problem area(s). This may included, among other things, blemish, stray hair and / or background distraction removal.

Next, further exposure, color and contrast adjustments are performed over the whole image.

If time allows, fine tuned adjustments are added. This includes additional shading, highlighting, isolated color adjustments and, depending on the image, some other Photoshop effects may be added.

Upon completion, your image(s) with Additional Retouching will be placed on a separate page within your gallery. Should more retouching be requested on images with Additional Retouching, we can do so at a rate of $30 per hr.

We provide Full Resolution Digital Files with a Print Release for any mages that receive Additional Retouching.

(Some listed reasons for retouching may require another image to solve the problem.

Should an alternate workable image not exist for a specific fix, the fix may not be achievable.)
